A new restaurant at the backside of eon kharadi IT park-@thespicestory is opened now and promises to serve good North Indian and Chinese Food. This place serves only vegetarian food so make sure, only if you are a hard core non-veg fan and eat veg when the food is exceptional then this place is not for you. I will come to each and every dish and how it tasted but before that I would like to share a picture of the menu card they have.
Now coming to the review part, I will start with Interior.
This place does not have an interior. An open kitchen with outside sitting makes this place a must go for college kids, office colleagues and family who are looking for budget food. The sitting arrangements were ok. I liked the furniture they have used in comparison to neighbor restaurants. A small flower vase middle of the table was pleasant. Since it was almost a pavement sitting, I would rate this section in ambience.
As I said the restaurant is on the pavement, you can see people shopping little daily need things or vegetables from the street. The road stays busy till 11:00 PM. Mostly colleagues from the work can be seen in a group or families with their little ones. Including sitting arrangement I would rate the ambience a 2.5 out of 5.
We ordered tomato soup with crème. It was acetic, may be they used over vinegar in it. I have tasted much better tomato soups. Then we ordered Veg Crispy which was a fusion of Indian spices and Chinese flavor. It was tasty. I liked it. Chole Bhature were average. Overall, I would rate food 2.5 out of 5.
Chole Bhature at the price of 100/- is not a bad deal. The whole dinner including french fries cost me 350/-. Which was acceptable. I would rate price 3 out of 5.
Overall rating to @thespicestory is 2.5.
